Launch of the ARC Training Centre for Personalised Therapeutics Technologies

The ARC Training Centre for Personalised Therapeutics Technologies was launched on 20 November 2018 by Professor Sue Thomas, CEO, Australian Research Council.

The ARC CPTT, led by Professor Alastair Stewart, Centre Director, aims to advance and deploy new technologies that will remove long-standing barriers to new drug discovery and development, and excitingly, provide opportunities for highly effective personalised treatments.

The ARC CPTT is a multidisciplinary collaboration headquartered in the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics at the University of Melbourne, with nodes at Monash University and The University of Western Australia. The Centre has 17 other government and industry partners including several biotech companies.

The ARC CPTT is funded by the Australian Government through the Australian Research Council Industrial Transformation Research Program.
